week thus far. The landscapers took a few days off and ticked me off, then I got them back for a day only to have the heavens open up yesterday. So I think that project is a little behind schedule but overall still close enough to make it work.
I had to get our downstairs shower repaired yesterday. It isn't a single piece and has caulking around the bottom and sides and water was seeping through. I hired a guy in my class, Joe Frasure, to repair it and he did a great job. So good that I've hired him to do quite a bit more work, including installing the wood flooring that Terri has wanted for so long. If anyone on the Southeast side of Houston needs a good all around home improvement guy, I highly recommend him. His website is Frasure Home Improvements.
Terri and I went to El Toro again last night but I decided against the margaritas because they cost so darn much! They raised the price of house margaritas to $5.98 each, ridiculous. I'll either have to make them at home or find another remote. Old Pipe Smoker has given me enough recipes that I might as well just stay home and try them all out.
I guess I need to wish my old (very) brother a happy birthday. On this day, many, many moons ago, one of the best piano players and music ministers around greeted the world with a healthy cry.
With the dismal light lately, picture taking hasn't been great but, if you are persistent and look, you can find some decent ones. I took these this week.
