the stars and the trees, what happens when a stray cat adopts you? Take a wild, wild guess.

Unbelievable. We had a stray cat start hanging around the house last summer. She just showed up one day and refused to leave. So, we started throwing table scraps out and she just kept hanging around. We thought that the hurricane had rid us of her but she was there waiting when they finally let us return home. Figured at that point she pretty much earned her spot around here.

She's friendly but wild, won't let you pick her up. I know that because I have the scars to prove it. So, I never got around to taking her down and getting her fixed. Bad move. Especially when half the homes in your city remain unoccupied and all of the cats the homeowners left behind are roaming the hood.

Now there are three more of them. Dang it! Can't decide what to do with them, it is hard to euthanize them but it might be the best thing.
